Prepare to Be Furminated!

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

The Furminator!

It’s summertime, and the livin’s easy. Especially if you’re a dog. Just lounging about, willy nilly. Ah, and let’s get rid of that undercoat…shedding it off slowly but surely all over the house. Little bit here, little bit there…oooooh, a lot right over here!

Not anymore Morgan! You’re going to get furminated today! Your good friend Veil got furminated recently, and barring some minor time burns (I think there’s time travel involved – time burns are one of the lesser known side effects), she’s doing great! Hasta la vista, furball!

Kevie’s Bachelor Party a Smashing Success!

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Steak. Booze. Bars. Oh yeah, and a nice picnic in the park. Kevie’s bachelor party this past weekend in Boston wasn’t the typical fiesta with the stymied strippers and various “what happened at the bachelor party…” kind of moments, but it was pretty memorable and I think it was a good sendoff to Kevie’s single life. After a delightful picnic in Boston’s Common Park with Laura’s bachelorette crew, we took in a free Matt Kearney / KT Tunstall / Guster concert across the way. I won’t go too much into what we did that night, but I will say that it involved steaks, bars and beads. Oh, and Pat fell in love, like, fifteen times. Click on the photo for the pics (at least, the ones we are releasing to the public).

Star Wars TV Show Sneak Preview

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

Wow, how exciting is it that Star Wars is coming to the small screen? Everyone knows that I love animation, and I’m really excited and impressed with this style. The show will take place in between episodes II and III, and be about the Republic’s struggle to keep Count Dooku and his robotic army at bay. If it’s anything like the battles we saw in Episode III, I’m totally stoked! I can’t wait to see more of General Grievous! Click on the image below for a video sneak peek at the new Star Wars Clone Wars animated tv show that’s coming soon!

Time to Roll Out the Summer TV DVDs!

Friday, May 25th, 2007

Summer is upon us! Hooray! Time to run around and drink beer and chill by the pool and have BCox make some margaritas and…wait a minute…we’re not in college anymore! I have to work all summer! And…wait, can it be true? There’s no new tv shows either!

Summer Reruns

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I’d like to take a moment to say:

-Lost rocks, the finale was one of the best episodes in a long time!
-Goodbye Veronica Mars. You were the best show on tv that nobody else watched.
-Congratulations Jordin Sparks!
-Hello Sopranos, Battlestar Galactica and other DVDs!

Something You Won’t Be Seeing This Weekend

At the Strip Club

This weekend we’ll be celebrating Kevie’s bachelorhood. Just a few more months of being single. Only, he’s not really single, right? And that means that boobies and lapdances are out. Bleh! C’mon ladies, it’s time to wise up about strip clubs. There isn’t anything wrong with a harmless little lapdance here and there, it’s not like we’re sleeping with the strippers, we’re just renting some warmth from their gentle bosoms.

What’s wrong with that?

So, here’s the plan – tomorrow night we put Kevie to bed early and sneak out to one of Boston’s dancing establishments….Just please nobody tell Danielle =).

Stephie’s Counting Down the Days

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

For six months this year, our favorite Hawaiian (Sorry Jack Johnson) will be out of a job….

Stephie is Counting

Let me explain.

The Ritz Carlton, Maui is in need of an overhaul, and when they start the massive project this summer they’ll shut down the hotel for half a year. Where does that leave Hawaii’s most favoritist finance guru? “I’ll be spending a lot of the time working.” Stephie notes. “And when I say working, I mean sitting on the beach with my laptop sipping a Mai Tai from a coconut.”

Gonna be awesome. But I think there’s more than seven days to go there little sister!

Welcome Back Captain Jack.

Nick Can’t Handle the PC

Nick dreaming of a Mac

Recently, a our own Nicky Bicky sent a frantic email to several of his friends and family members detailing a problem he was having with his PC. Granted, Nicholas is a Mac user. Granted, he’s not that comfortable using a mouse. Granted, he has some sort of electrical magnetism eminating from his body that affects computers and street lamps in strange ways. But come on buddy, let’s get your computer skills up to snuff. If you need some lessons, I’ll come over and show you how to double-click on things…I know it gets confusing when you upgrade from one mouse button to two, but we’ll get through it, I promise!

James Doohan

It seems the ashes of our beloved engineer James “Scotty” Doohan were lost somewhere in New Mexico two weeks ago, and I am happy to report that they have, in fact, been found!

Argh! Veronica Mars had it’s series finale last night, and the show didn’t wrap things up very well. It seems producer Rob Thomas was confident that the show would get picked up again, at least in some form. He prepared a pitch to network execs in which Veronica is an FBI agent which would fast forward the series a few years and totally revamp the show. Click the link to read a synopsis.

Some of the Guitar Hero III tracks have been revealed!
